• THE TOAD - We work with private property owners to remove yaupon as part of a conservation effort to restore breeding habitat for the critically endangered Houston Toad.
• HUGGING TREES - Reforest instead of deforest. After recent fires in the Lost Pines Forest, yaupon is threatening to turn large parts of the forest into yaupon thickets. Removing yaupon helps restore natural plant community balance and is vital for prevention of forest fires.
